DELIVERY POLICY:

At Short and Sweet, we are committed to providing you with an easy and delightful shopping experience. To ensure that your order arrives in perfect condition, please read through these guidelines and keep them in mind when placing your order. If you encounter any issues that are not covered below, please do not hesitate to contact us, and we will do our best to find a solution.

Ordering Policy

Our chocolate and confectionery products are available to purchase online through our website at www.shortandsweet.co.za, or from our factory in Woodstock, CPT.

Delivery Cost

Our shipping rates vary depending on location; orders shipped within the Western Province differ to orders shipped to other major cities within the Republic of South Africa. If your package exceeds our standard flyer bag size, additional charges may apply due to the weight and size of your package.

Product Availability

All the products featured on our website are available for order. However, please allow 2-3 business days for us to process your order as our products are hand made in small batches. If you require a quicker delivery option, please don’t hesitate to contact us via email or telephonically.

Please also note: we have limited stock of our products available for over-the-counter purchase at our Woodstock branch, so it’s best to confirm product availability beforehand to avoid disappointment.

Order Processing

We aim to process all orders within two business days. Please note that orders placed after 1PM will begin processing on the following business day. Our business days are from Monday to Friday, except for South African public holidays. If an order is received on a Friday for delivery outside of Cape Town, it will only be shipped from the following Monday.

Shipping Accuracy

Please ensure that you provide us with accurate delivery information. Our delivery guarantee only applies to correctly addressed orders. We cannot guarantee the condition of the package if the delivery service has to reroute it. We guarantee delivery only to the provided address & delivery note confirmed on the order.

Shipping Confirmation

Once we ship your order; you will receive a confirmation email, this also applies to collection orders as well. Once received; you’re welcome to collect your order when suitable. If you’d like to track your order, please feel free to contact us for the waybill number.

Delivery

We always aim to deliver your order overnight. However, depending on your location, it may take up to three business days for your order to arrive. Please rest assured that we package our products with protective packaging, ice packs and care to ensure they arrive in excellent condition. If you have any specific delivery requirements, such as a delivery date, please indicate them when placing your order.

Personalised Delivery

We offer personalised delivery options, such as adding a personal note to your order. Please contact us for more information, and our team will be happy to assist you.

Refunds and Replacements

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot accept returns. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, please contact us within five (5) days of receiving your order, and we will work with you to find a satisfactory solution. Please note that we reserve the right to limit refunds and replacements.

Cancellation or Change of Order Policy

You can cancel or make changes to your order as long as we have not shipped it yet, which typically takes up to two business days. You can do this through our website. If you make significant changes to your order, please note that it may add to the time required to process it.

International Shipping

At present, we do not offer international shipping. However, if you would like to discuss possible options, please contact us, and we will do our best to assist you.
