Ordering Policy: Orders for our Chocolates can be placed online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every week of the year via www.shortandsweet.co.za

Delivery Cost: There is an R99 flat rate Shipping cost for all orders made within The Republic of South Africa,

Availability of Products: All of the Chocolates on our website are always available for ordering and will be handcrafted to order, which is why it might take us between 2-3 business days to process your order

Order Processing: We aim to process all orders within two business days. Please note that orders placed after 1 PM will begin processing on the following business day. Our business days are from Monday to Friday, except for South African public holidays.

At Short and Sweet, we take great pride in the craftsmanship of our chocolates and confectionery. Each and every one of our chocolates are hand-painted with care and attention to detail, making each piece unique and special. However, because of the handmade nature of our products, the design and appearance of each item may differ slightly from one another. This is simply part of the charm and beauty of handmade chocolates.

All of our chocolates are made to be eaten sooner rather than later, but we have taken extra steps to ensure if you don’t consume the chocolates asap, they have a shelf life of up to 4 weeks (if they last that long.) as chocolate is a very heat sensitive product, it’s best stored in a cool, dark place. An airtight container works well and the fridge could too if necessary. Allow the product to become room temperature for the most enjoyable experience.

Yes, we do deliver our products! We offer local and national delivery within South Africa, to the following provinces: Western Cape, Gauteng, and Kwazulu-Natal. We use a reliable local delivery service, The Courier Guy, to ensure your order arrives safely and quickly. From the time your order leaves our factory, it typically takes 1-2 business days to arrive at your doorstep. We take great care in packaging our chocolates and confectionery to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. We take pride in packaging our chocolates and confectionery with great care to ensure they arrive in perfect condition, but we understand that sometimes issues can arise during delivery. If you encounter any problems with your delivery, please don’t hesitate to contact us. While we cannot be held liable for any damages that occur after the products leave our premises, we want to make sure you’re completely satisfied with your order. As we make our chocolates from scratch, we will notify you as soon as your order is ready for collection. Please allow for 1-3 business days for your order to be prepared and made available for collection. Once your order is ready, we will send you an email or give you a call to let you know it’s available for pick-up.
